The RKC shows feature three categories of competition - conformation,
obedience, and rally.
Obedience Classes
Start in September!
Classes promote responsible dog ownership through AKC Canine Good
Citizen training, and will begin September 3, 2008.
Yearly Microchip Clinic
in October!
This year's clinic will be held at the field in front of the NC
State University Club on Hillsborough St., Raleigh, next to the
College of Veterinary Medicine on Saturday, September 13th , 2008
from 10am – 3pm

Welcome to the Raleigh Kennel Club (RKC), a licensed club of the American Kennel Club (AKC). The RKC is a not-for-profit all-breed club for individuals who share a love of dogs and donate their time and effort to support our canine companions.
The objects of the Raleigh Kennel Club are:
(a) to further the advancement of all breeds of pure-bred dogs;
(b) to conduct dog shows, obedience trials and sanctioned matches under the rules of the American Kennel Club;
(c) to devote all profits accruing to the Club to the above purposes, or to make specific bequests to such charitable or civic organizations.
