Obedience classes:

The Raleigh Kennel Club offers obedience classes twice yearly through Raleigh Parks and Recreation. The classes promote responsible dog ownership through AKC Canine Good Citizen training.

When? The obedience classes always start on the Wednesday after each of the Raleigh Kennel Club shows, which occur in the third week of March and over Labor Day.

Where? Classes are held at Millbrook Exchange Park.

How do I register for classes? Register for RKC obedience classes through the City of Raleigh Parks and Recreation. They have a website, but our classes may not show up on the website until 2 weeks prior to starting.

Microchip Clinic:

Once a year, the Raleigh Kennel Club offers free microchips to the public. This event is offered in conjunction with the Dog Olympics held at the field in front of the NC State University Club on Hillsborough St., Raleigh, next to the College of Veterinary Medicine.

When: Saturday, September 13 th , 2008 from 10am – 3pm
Raindate: Saturday, Oct. 11 th , 2008

One free microchip per family, please.
