Dominion Rhodesian Ridgebacks is located in Lovettsville, Virginia, where we and our dogs enjoy the rolling fields, beautiful views, and a little over 11 acres of Virginia countryside.

We got our first Ridgeback, Aidan, in 1999 and started showing him with the guidance and help of Nalena Klaas of Zulu Rhodesian Ridgebacks. We now have four Ridgebacks, two of which are finished AKC conformation champions...Aidan (CH Mt Chance's Little Fire SC, HIC), Ella (CH Pingora's Too Darn Hot), Rio (Dreamaker's Stairway to Heaven) and Mia (Dominion's Start A Revolution). We owner-handle all of our dogs (with help from "grandma" Nalena with Aidan). In addition to showing, our dogs love to lure course, go backpacking with us (Aidan and Ella both have their own packs!), chase deer off our property, keep the couch from flying away by graciously napping on it for us, and make sure all the food in the house is up to snuff

Steve currently serves as Vice President for the Chesapeake Bay Area Rhodesian Ridgeback Club (CBARRC). We are both members of the Rhodesian Ridgeback Club of the United States and volunteer with Rhosedian Ridgeback Rescue. We do all this to be around the dogs we love, and in the hopes that we can play our own small part in preserving the integrity of this wonderful breed.
